Block-modular pumping station
Block-Modular Pumping Station (BMPS) is used in a wide range of industries including mining, metallurgy, wastewater treatment plants, agriculture, for watering and draining of swamps, mines and quarries, as well as for emergency situations such as fires, floods and others.
The main components of the BMNS are a water intake filter; pumps with electric motor, selected for individual customer’s request; control panel, through which the whole process of station operation is controlled and carried out; pressure valve and pipeline system.
BMNS provides uninterrupted water supply, providing up to 5000 m3 of water per hour (at a head of up to 120 metres). The station remains functional at low and high temperatures (from – 50 to 50 °C), being the optimal solution for pumping large volumes of liquid over any distance.

Features Block-modular pumping station (BMNS)
The automated complex, which consists of modular units, includes all the necessary engineering systems for operator safety and comfort: heating, ventilation, lighting and fire alarms. In addition, the complex is equipped with pumps, pipe fittings, automation and a dispatching system that allows to connect and interact with the system remotely.
The unique advantages of the block-modular pumping station include the mobility of the structure, the possibility of transport by road or railway transport. And most importantly – an individual approach to the customer’s requirements, which allows you to adapt the station to the required size and configuration.
In case of operation in cold climatic conditions, the container is equipped with thermal insulation, which is a heat insulation made of three-layer frameless sandwich panels. The thickness of the insulation is in the range of 50-200 mm. A ventilation system can be installed for operations in hot environments.
Suitable pumping equipment is selected individually for each project, based on the purpose of the station and the applied algorithm of operation. This may include one or more pumps designed for different tasks. When selecting pumping equipment, the specifics of the technological process, climatic conditions of the location, the required parameters of the pump units and the type of pumped liquid are taken into account.
The automation system
Depending on the complexity of the technological process and the degree of automation at the enterprise where the block-modular plant is to be used, the method of control can vary from simple manual control over the elements of the plant to a full-fledged automated control system covering all processes.
The automation system
- automatic and manual operation mode;
- automatic switching on of pumps when an external dry contact signal is received;
- start and control of pump speeds via soft starter or frequency converters;
- automatic connection of the reserve pump in case of failure of the main pump;
- indication of operating and emergency status of all executive devices;
- signalling of pump and signal circuits malfunction;
- motor short-circuit protection;
- motor protection against loss of one of the phases;
- pump protection against dry running;
- quality control of the supply voltage;
- automatic power supply backup;
- dispatching of alarm and operating parameters via physical signals.
